Leader of Learning in History

Required for September 2019, a dynamic classroom practitioner with the ability to lead a highly successful departmental team and to play a key leadership role in the school.

Applicants should:
• possess QTS
• be a committed and motivated classroom teacher with a proven track record of achieving excellent results
• possess the ability to inspire and lead others
• be able to teach History to A level.

Science Technician

Band 2 SCP 11-15, pro rata (actual starting salary £14,743pa)

Based at the Becket School and reporting to the Lead Technician, the Science Technician will work in a team of four to ensure there is effective support for practical work across the Science department. With a scientific background (GSCE double science award of at least C/C or a relevant NVQ qualification), applicants must be IT proficient with excellent communication skills. Science qualifications at a higher level (e.g. A level or degree) would be a significant advantage.
