Salary: Band 5 – actual salary £22,037

Contract type: 37 hours per week, Term Time plus 2 weeks

The Becket School and its Hub – St Francis of Assisi, are looking for an experienced Attendance Manager / Education Welfare Officer to devise and implement strategies to achieve and maintain excellent levels of attendance across the school. This will include proactively assisting parents to fulfil their legal responsibilities so that children are able to receive an education appropriate to their age, aptitude and ability and any special educational needs they might have.

Located in West Bridgford, on the outskirts of Nottingham, The Becket School has a real sense of community that you can see and sense as you walk around the school. Each child is important to us and our expectation is that all our students will develop and grow as young people as they make their journey as part of our community.

The Becket School is a heavily over-subscribed and highly successful Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust with a 6th Form of over 270 students.
