We have a wide range of facilities available for hire, from high quality sporting facilities to state of the art technology and performing art spaces.

Price List (For bookings up to 31/08/2024)
We try our utmost to ensure our prices are competitive and we are sure you will find our facilities are of the highest order.

The school does reserves the right to refuse bookings particularly those which we feel do not match the school’s ethos.
All bookings will be confirmed in writing by the school, with a confirmation of the agreed price and our terms and conditions attached. This agreement should be signed and returned to the school ahead of the letting taking place.
Under no circumstances should the letting proceed until the signed agreement has been returned to the school
+ Hirers will be issued with an External Lettings Emergency Procedure set of instructions.
+ Hirers have a responsibility to ensure that all activities are safe and to safeguard their membership from violence or any avoidable harm.
+ Hirers should ensure that any equipment that they bring into the School or use in the School is safe and suitable for the use to which it is put.
+ Hirers must ensure that DBS checks are in place when necessary.
+ If anyone is injured whilst on the school site this must be reported to the lettings team so that first aid can be initiated and procedures followed.
+ Hirers need to arrange insurance to cover any damage to the premises, furniture/fittings and to indemnity the School against all actions relating to personal loss, damage or injury.
+ Hirers who arrange an activity that is potentially dangerous must ensure that any instructors or leaders are suitably qualified.
A one off hire payment in full will be required at the time of booking – an invoice will be issued.
Regular users (who book blocks of 10 weeks or more) will be invoiced once per month in advance.
The school will seek to recover any costs incurred by the school as a result of any damage or misuse of school, furniture, equipment or property. This includes any charges incurred for additional cleaning costs.
If you need to cancel a letting, you must provide the school with at least 1 week’s notice. If this notice period is not adhered to, the school reserves the right to charge for the letting in full.
If after being assessed by Facilities Staff, the All Weather Pitches or Grass Pitches are deemed unsuitable for play all hirers will be contacted and advised as soon as possible.
The school site is a no smoking area. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the school gates. This includes electronic cigarettes.
The school site is a dog free site. Please do not bring dogs or other animals on to the school premises.
Please do not drop litter. We have provided a number of bins around the site for your convenience.
Our indoor sports facilities are incredibly versatile and this is reflected in the number of different activities we receive bookings for.
Our sports hall is home to a wide variety of different sports. The surface is maintained to the highest quality and this ensures that all our partners receive the best possible experience.
We have professional quality basketball nets and the facility is regularly used by the Nottingham Hoods as a training venue.
Our indoor cricket nets are incredibly popular, with a number of teams from the Nottinghamshire Premier League training in the nets.
The sports hall has excellent acoustics and is also popular for music practices.
We have marching bands and other groups utilising the facility, especially when the weather deteriorates outside.
The activity gym is particular popular for dance and exercise classes. The floor is maintained to a high quality and for groups looking for a softer surface we have a range of matting available.
The main hall is a large area which is perfect for large exercise classes especially with access to the stage and the audio visual equipment.
Aerobics, Zumba classes and Dance lessons are popular in this space, but we are always looking to increase the number of different activities taking place.
The activity room in the sixth form centre is an ideal venue for Yoga and Pilates.
Our outdoor sports facilities are of the highest order. We employ a highly trained Grounds Maintenance Technician to ensure all our pitches are maintained to an exemplary standard.
We are able to offer 7 football pitches for hire, including our show pitch which is complete with substitute shelters and Premier League standard goals.
Our football pitches include 3 full size pitches, one of which is convertible to 9vs9. In addition we have another 9vs9 pitch which complies with the new FA requirements and 3 mini soccer pitches. All our pitches are provided with high quality goals.
For teams wishing to use the Becket School for training we also have available a full size All Weather Pitch. This can be booked in its entirety or can be split into three training pitches.
All pitches come with suitable goals, all of which are of the highest specification. The All Weather Pitch is floodlit, enabling teams to continue training throughout the winter months. We do not charge teams extra for the use of the floodlights.
Our full size All Weather Pitch is perfect for hockey and the school’s facility has become a popular venue for hockey in the local area
The All Weather Pitch is available with markings for a full sized game of the pitch or can be split in half for two smaller games. We have high quality hockey goals available for either option.
For teams wishing to practice we have a six lane outside cricket net. Each lane has an artificial wicket.
We also have indoor cricket nets and facilities available.
We have three outdoor netball courts available for hire. These are becoming increasingly popular and we provide all the equipment required for a game.

At the Becket School we are able to offer fantastic facilities to host any event whether it is big or small.
Our main hall has capacity to comfortably seat 350 attendees and comes with a fully integrated state of the art audio visual and IT system.
The main stage provides a superb platform to showcase your event.
We are able to offer a second large space for entertaining and networking in the adjacent room.
We are able to cater for most requirements and can boast over 30 breakout rooms should they be required.
Our team of staff are experts in delivering events, ranging from Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Community and Sports awards to large international Irish dancing competitions.
If it is a meeting space you are after then our prestigious boardroom is the perfect venue.
Our large boardroom table comfortably seats 20 and comes fully equipped with an interactive whiteboard with projector.
We also have various other size meeting rooms. From our Dining hall, that you can use our lunch time benches or the whole room cleared for your event.

We have built a fantastic reputation for our Drama and Music facilities and we are extremely proud of our relationships with the prestigious Stagecoach Drama School and the Nottingham Youth Orchestra.
We have two fully equipped drama studios. Both rooms can be fully blacked out to provide the perfect space for your performance.
Our main drama studio is equipped with a full lighting rig and adjustable staging.
Our second room is a great rehearsal space and is fully sound proof enabling your performers to express themselves freely.

The Becket School has a strong reputation for music performance and as you would expect we have some truly outstanding music facilities.
Our main hall and activitiy room provide fantastic acoustics suitable for either practice or live performances.
The main hall with its staging and audio visual set up is the ideal venue for music performances.
We have the hall set up with an electric screen and projector. With the option to attach your Windows laptop and utilise our 2 connection options of a mini display port or HDMI
We also have wireless handheld or lapel microphones available.
We can also offer additional space in adjacent rooms for break out and refreshments.

As a modern purpose built school building we are able to offer a range of different classroom environments to suit your particular needs.
Our food classroom is fully equipped with 12 electric ovens and gas hobs. Central work stations constructed in stainless steel provide a clean and clear space for preparation.
The room complies fully with health and safety and food hygiene standards and is cleaned and maintained to provide a perfect area for cookery and food technology lessons for either adults, teenagers or children
Our standard classrooms seat up to 30 people, with some rooms expandable through the use of bi-folding doors.
Each classroom has a standard white board plus an interactive board and projector. Additional ICT resources can be supplied on request.
Our Chapel, which sits proudly at the front of our facilities, is an ideal venue for a service or religious event.
The Chapel is available for hire, but we do request that your event or service respects the catholic ethos of our school

Why not have your Sports themed children’s party at The Becket School? We have two different options available for you to choose from.
Throughout the year we are able to offer use of our state of the art sports hall. This can be used for a number of different sports including indoor football, basketball, indoor cricket, netball, badminton or tennis.
There is nothing better than hearing the ball ripple in the net as you score a goal and our indoor goals are perfect for a children’s football match.
Alternatively our adjustable basketball nets, with Perspex backboards (think teen American movie) mean even the smallest of children can enjoy a game of basketball.
For those children interested in cricket we can provide use of our indoor cricket nets or provide a quality surface for a full game of indoor cricket.
After the sport you can then retire to our community room, where you can set up your party food and refreshments and even have room for the odd party game.

Our standard package provides two hours in the sports hall and a further hour in the community room.
