The Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is the admission authority for all the schools within the trust and is responsible for determining the admissions policy. School Appeals

If you have been refused a place at The Becket School, you have the right to appeal the decision.

There is now one appeal form for all appeals, including:

  • September 2026 Year 7 appeals following National Offer Day
  • Mid-year / in-year appeals following an unsuccessful application

Please complete the form below and provide as much detail as possible about the reasons for your appeal. You can also include any supporting evidence that you would like the independent appeal panel to consider.

Once completed, please email your form and any supporting evidence to admissions@becketonline.co.uk.

Appeal Deadlines

September 2026 Year 7 appeals

If you were not offered a place at The Becket School following National Offer Day, your appeal must be submitted by 30 March 2026.

Mid-year / in-year appeals

If your application for a place during the school year has been refused, your appeal must be submitted within 20 working days of the date on your refusal letter.

What happens next?

Once your appeal form has been received, the Admissions Officer will contact the Catholic Schools Appeals Service, which arranges appeals on behalf of the governing body of The Becket School.

Your appeal will be considered by an independent appeal panel. The panel’s decision is final and is binding on all parties.
