The Nottingham Catholic Teaching School Alliance
Welcome to The Nottingham Catholic Teaching School Alliance
Welcome to The Nottingham Catholic Teaching School Alliance’s website. We are really proud of the work that has been done so far within the Alliance and want to take this opportunity to share with you some of the high quality experiences our staff and students have had during the last year.
Our work is focused in three main areas: Teacher Training, School to School Support and Continued Professional Development: Each area is covered in this newsletter with some information on our work and maybe how you as an individual, as a school, or even a group of schools, can take advantage of some of our services or work in collaboration with us to help all our young people realise their full potential.
The Nottingham Catholic Teaching School Alliance (NCTSA) is a partnership of 71 schools in Nottinghamshire, Nottingham, Leicester, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire, which includes primary and secondary schools, and also extends to Nottingham Trent University, Bishop Grosseteste University, University of Leicester, University of Derby and the Nottingham Roman Catholic Diocesan Education Service.
The overarching aim of our Alliance is that all students in our schools will benefit from our commitment to work collaboratively to share our strengths and support developments.
We warmly invite you to consider joining us to help us to achieve these aims. The benefits of being an Alliance member include: opportunity to have a School Direct Trainee, access to our CPD programme, access to Specialised Leaders of Education (SLE) and support in becoming an SLE, if interested. All we ask is that you engage with and attend the steering group in one of the above areas.
For more details on any of these areas please contact Vanessa Scott, Teaching School Manager, NCTSA.
