The school would, in normal circumstances run our annual parent information evenings.  Unfortunately, this is not possible in the current situation.  Please find below, links to the presentations that would have been delivered on the evening, for your information;

** IMPORTANT AMENDMENT TO THE Y11 EXAMS ADVICE BELOW**

Please note the amendment to the presentation following the recent government announcement:

The summer GCSE exam start date was updated on Monday 12th October.  The DfE have stated that most GCSEs will start three weeks later to provide students more time to prepare and a chance to catch up on education lost due to COVID-19’.  Therefore, most exams will start on 7th June and run until 2nd July, apart from the English and Maths GCSEs which will be held before the May half-term. This recent announcement in the change of exam dates may have an impact on dates for study leave and some other aspects of the timeline which is explained in the presentation. As soon as the school has decided how we will respond to the new exam dates the school will inform all parents.  In addition to this, the later start date for GCSE exams has also led to a delay in the GCSE result day, which is now planned for August 27th 2021.
