Pupil Premium

Introduction

The Becket School is strongly committed to ensuring that our most disadvantaged students are given the support to allow them to be successful.

The information below summarises and outlines the plans we have put in place to ensure that our Pupil Premium students are given the best possible support.

What is Pupil Premium?

Pupil Premium is funding to improve education outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in England.

Evidence shows that disadvantaged children generally face additional challenges in reaching their potential at school and often do not perform as well as other pupils.

As a school, we are free to spend the Pupil Premium as we see fi but we are accountable for how we use the additional funding.

New measures have been included in the performance tables to highlight the attainment and progress of pupils entitled to the Pupil Premium.

Our Pupil Premium allocation for 2022 – 2023 is  £163,520 although we have allocated slightly more from the main school budget to supplement this.

The allocation for previous years can be found in the reports below.
